Jean Grey X-Men Dark Phoenix Superhero Costume

I don't typically write reviews, but I had to immediately after changing out of this costume for the first time. It looks AWESOME! Definitely get someone to help with your measurements if you don't know them, because the custom sizing is the way to go. The costume is incredibly comfortable (but heed the other reviewers' warnings: this is not a costume to wear outside in heat for long periods of time). Five stars!

I can never stress this enough: CUSTOM FIT IS THE WAY TO GO WITH BODY SUITS! Especially when shiny. I am quite happy with this one, even if it took a bit of rearranging and picking the right underwear for it to look the way it should. The sash looks fantastic- but the underside is a bright non-metallic yellow fabric. Make sure to arrange it properly before taking photos!

This is another moment where I'm glad I shop at Herostime. I'd always wanted a male version of the Dark Phoenix costume, and it was made up with a snap through this wonderful site. Herostime followed my measurements exactly and the costume fits flawlessly. One thing to keep in mind is that the shiny metallic spandex does not breathe the same way that other costumes may, simply by nature of the fabric itself. So the Dark Phoenix costume may work best for you inside an air conditioned convention hall or costume party, or outdoors when the weather is cool. Either way, you will look great!

The costume turned out GREAT and I ordered it with detachable gloves.
Love it! So worth it. Ordering all my superhero costumes from here from now on, another this month most likely.
